Backlit pays your royalty as part of the settlement transaction, at the rate your collection publishes. The payment arrives as a private note, so you need keys registered before a buyer can settle.

Connect the royalty receiver
Use the address your collection names in its ERC-2981 terms. If royalties go to a Safe, connect the Safe.

Create your keys
One signature derives them. They stay on your device, and the app offers an encrypted backup you can keep.

Register them on chain
One transaction publishes the public half, so buyers can address your royalty to you. After that, sales in your collection settle normally.

What buyers and sellers can see
Your rate and the fact that it was paid are public on every receipt. The amount is not. You read your own royalties, decrypted locally, in the Royalties tab of your dashboard.
